What do I need to do to get set up?
CATALOG:
For your catalog, we’ll need your logo and either a background graphic, or we can design one from your website branding.
PRODUCTS:
You can ship us boxes of already replicated DVDs, or, if you have easy access to the edits, Leaping Brain will guide you with instructions for exporting and encoding each chapter as an MP4 movie.
YOUR WEB PAGE:
You will be provided with a simple HTML table with images that will explain MOD Machine to your customers. No matter how your website is built, creating a new web page and pasting this HTML in should take just minutes. You may want to personalize the text for your company, or just leave as is. Either way, that’s all there is to it! No hassles with widgets, Javascript, Flash or any other complicated web-based technology. You will also want to add links to your web page in your navigation bar, sidebar, and throughout your website.
What are the costs?
CATALOG:
Your catalog will usually cost less than $190 or so to complete.
PRODUCTS:
For a typical DVD, the cost will be about $95 – $190 to author, encode, and add it to your catalog.
ONGOING:
Leaping Brain deducts 15% from each sale for their costs, and 5% for transactional fees including VISA/MC/DISC/AMEX, gateway fees, and Authorize.net fees. There are no monthly or other charges.

Once I’m set up, how does it work?
- Your customer goes to your web page and reads about the your MOD Machine catalog.
- They click either the Windows or Mac OS X button to download the MOD Machine software. Your customer never leaves your website.
- Once the software is installed, the customer can then browse through available DVDs, purchase them, and view them all within one integrated, elegant environment. The customer can click your logo in the catalog to go back to your website anytime.

- Each time your customer launches the catalog to view a product they’ve purchased, they are reminded of all the other wonderful titles available in your catalog, encouraging higher repeat sales.
What is the “Affiliate Toolbox”?
The Affiliate Toolbox is a software program you will be provided with that has these features:
- Real Time Account Viewer
The Real Time Account Viewer gives you a listing of sales as they happen in real time, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You will also see payments to you from Leaping Brain, and a constantly updated account balance. You can get reports on individual products or all products, by date range or all dates. There is even an annualized projection of sales, by product or total, based on the date range you select. - Sales Data Exporter
The Affiliate Toolbox also allows you to export sales data in tab-delimited format for easy import into your bookkeeping software, Excel, or any other system you wish. - Customer Data Exporter
