.Well, I must say “I told you so.” Again.
“Platforms” that have “hardwired” elements are all doomed to obsolescence. Anyone who has published Quicktime movies with a Flash layer know this to be true… wake up one morning, and blammo! All your media no workie. I speak from experience here.
That’s why we designed MOD Machine with nothing in stone in terms of video formats, interactivity, transfer protocol, or any other aspect of the system. What if H.265 comes out tomorrow? We can deliver it tomorrow. What if HD video goes to 2K? We can deliver 2K, or 4K, today. What if internet protocols change? MOD Machine does not depend on any kind of streaming or FTP protocols. As long as the internet exists, our system will adapt to any change, foreseen or unforeseen.
MOD Machine is the only platform in the world designed to adapt, while others are tied to standards that, like the sands of time, are ever-shifting.
