MOD Machine Pricing
Our revenue model is simple. We charge for:
- Catalog creation/design
- Adding your content to our digital library
- A distribution fee
There are no other fees or charges, obvious or hidden. We pay all costs for storing, processing payment for, and delivering your content, including server & bandwidth costs, credit card and payment gateway fees, customer support, etc. Our setups costs are typically about 1/10 that of DVD authoring and replication.
Catalog Build/Design:
This is the one-time, charge for creating your custom catalog and adding you as a publisher. Simple graphics, such as your logo placed over a solid color or gradient, would cost about $190 or less, while custom graphics would run $250 – $400 or so.
Adding your content to our library
We charge a straight shop fee for preparing your content for our library. The charge per product varies widely, and can range from $20 to $400 or more per product depending on complexity and how much of the work we do. Generally speaking, if we do all the work, we can add a typical simple DVD product with multiple chapters for around $95 complete with chapters, description, custom graphics, product authoring and build, and everything else needed to make the product live in our system. Distribution percentage:
Standard (cart total over $9 U.S.):
U.S. sales: 18% + .30 per cart
International USD sales: 19% + .30 per cart
International sales in native currencies (optional, cart total over $9 U.S.):
22% + .50 per cart
Leaping Brain Labs can also accept purchase orders and accommodate site licensing, educational pricing, subscriptions, rentals, or any other conceivable arrangement (some development fees would apply). Publishers set their own prices for their products and we strongly recommend keeping prices the same as, or slightly lower than, the price of the DVD version.

Remember, the above figures do not include the substantial costs of warehouse space, shipping and receiving personnel, shipping supplies, packaging, defective or lost units, and the many other costs of managing physical inventory.
